What to Expect
You’ll discover green forest, pristine waters, expansive night skies, and deep peace on our unique weekend camping retreat. Experience yoga, meditation, and mindfulness workshops at this unique 100 acre property, then let us take you exploring with Free Spirit tours. We’ll paddle into spectacular Jack's Lake where you may see bald eagles, trumpeter swans, osprey, beavers, turtles and more.
All of our classes, workshops, and activities are beginner-friendly and no camping experience is necessary!
About Us
Joanne has been practicing yoga and studying yoga philosophy and meditation extensively for over 35 years, and has been teaching locally and internationally for over 20 years. Joanne also holds degrees in Education and Psychology and is certified to offer Mindfulness Based Interventions.
Joanne believes yoga and mindfulness practices improve people's quality of life- physically, mentally and emotionally- and encourages her students to use their practice to find both strength and softeness, recognizing that resilience comes from both. Joanne is passionate about empowering people to cope with the challenges we all enevitably encounter in the world.
Cayra has worked in the fitness and wellness field for over 28 years as a professional athlete, coach, facility manager, recreation consultant, yoga instructor and personal trainer. Cayra has a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education from University of Toronto, is a Registered Yoga Teacher and is a member of Canadian Fitness Professionals. She's also a paramedic with the County of Simcoe.
Cayra loves the great outdoors and is passionate about helping people connect to nature! She believes yoga and fitness should be fun and accessible to every body. Her creative outdoor classes will help you find the "just right" experience for you.

- Yoga mat and beach towel (for under your mat)

PLEASE NOTE: Proof of vaccination or a medical exemption is required. All hosts and participants will be tested using a rapid antigen test upon arrival and anyone testing positive will be unable to attend. We are unable to offer refunds. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance when registering!
