Are you ready to take your bicycle repair skills to the next level? In Wenches level 2, we'll get you comfortable fondling derailleurs/Shifters and all their twisty-turny bits.
Level 2 is:
A basic two part lesson on identification, set-up and adjustment of common mechanical Shimano and Sram Road/Mountain bike shifter/derailleur systems (*this does not include electronic shifting - Di2 or Etap)
Deeper look at design, terminology, and purpose of these components.
Learn how to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve popular shifting issues with your bike
You will learn how to remove and install new shift cables and housing. This is full hands-on learning.
Prerequisites: This course delivers content that requires participants to have a basic understanding and capability to perform common repairs on a bicycle. Common repairs include; changing/repairing a flat tire and fixing a broken chain. It's also assumed that participants have an understanding of how to shift gears effectively and efficiently without the use of optical display.
