You’ve no doubt noticed that the Canada Aviation and Space Museum is closed for a few weeks this fall. Believe us, it’s for a good reason! The museum is developing a world class exhibition on the Cold War opening in April, 2024 and preparing for the acquisition of an important piece of Canadian aviation history, a CC-115 Buffalo. All this work involves moving our aircraft and these BIG objects must be moved with care.
What goes in to acquiring a new aircraft? How do we offload other items to make room? What goes in to developing a new exhibition? You’ll hear about all of this and more from an Ingenium curator as she discusses these topics and takes you on a behind-the-scenes tour of the work underway!
