The Greater Grand Junction Sports Commission has and will continue to monitor local and state guidelines to ensure a safe Rim Rock Run experience for participants, volunteers, supporters, and members of the community. On matters of public health and safety, we take our guidance from officials entrusted with protecting the public in this area. We are continuing to monitor all developments regarding the coronavirus pandemic and will follow guidance from the city and state as it relates to these developments. We will remain flexible to address and explore all factors with public officials as we plan for the race. Our priority remains the health and well-being of members of our community. Mesa County Public Health Department is allowing special events to take place, with the approval of appropriate safe event plans.This includes,but is not limited to, packet pick up, race day starts, and post race operations. Additionally, the race is pending permits from various agencies.

Winding over the Colorado National Monument from Grand Junction to Fruita, Colorado, the U.S. Bank Rim Rock Run boasts scenery unlike any other race. The peaceful course features views of towering monoliths, vast plateaus and canyon panoramas. Sheer-walled, red rock canyons surround the twists and turns of the course.The race finishes in downtown Fruita’s Circle Park, at a celebration that includes live entertainment, local food and merchandise and a beer garden.

Proceeds from the U.S. Bank Rim Rock Run benefit scholarships for Colorado Mesa University Track and Cross Country student-athletes and the Greater Grand Junction Sports Commission.

Packet Pick-Up (Location Fruita Community Center) – 11/6- 3:00pm - 7:00pm

Race Day Registration (Location Fruita Community Center) – 11/7 – 6:00am - 7:00am

Shuttles Begin Departing (Location Fruita Community Center) 11/7:

  • Marathon Shuttle: 7:00am Pick-up | 7:30am Drop-off
  • 1/2 Marathon & 2nd Leg Runners Shuttle: 7:30am Pick-up | 8:00am Drop-off

Marathon and Marathon Relay Start – 8:00am
