2023 Mike Bos 5K Shootout & Prelude To The Shootout

REGISTRATION WILL OPEN THURSDAY, JUNE 15TH AT 10:00 AM EST FOR THE MIKE BOS 5K SHOOTOUT. THIS YEAR'S MIKE BOS 5K SHOOTOUT WILL TAKE PLACE SATURDAY, JULY 8TH, 2023! THIS IS A NEW DAY OF THE WEEK THEN PAST $5,000 RACES.

REGISTRATION FOR THE PRELUDE TO THE SHOOTOUT, TAKING PLACE ON FRIDAY, JULY 7TH 2023 WILL OPEN THURSDAY JUNE 15TH AT 2:00 PM EST.

In 2023, the Jr. Week 5K Shootout will award not only $5,000 cash to the winner, but also $2,000 to the runner-up, while semi-finalists will take home $1,000 each. The race, slated to complete on Saturday, July 8th, features a 64-car field competing in true shoot out style. Not to be confused, the Teel Family Memorial Race will be run on Monday, July 10th. Entry fee for the Mike Bos 5K race is $225, and there will be a time run for all competitors for the day before first round.

To add to the excitement of the Junior Week at Bristol, the week will kick off with the Prelude To The Shootout on Friday, July 7th. This 32-Car Field will award $2,000 (Plus An Entry Into The Mike Bos 5K Shootout On Saturday) to the Winner, with $1,000 to the runner-up, and semi-finalists taking home $500 each. Racers in the event will recieve 1 time trials then immediately go into eliminations. The Entry Fee is $225.

No double entries in either race. Entries are not transferable for either, with both having seperate waitlists. If full 64-car field does not get filled we will take the first 32 entries and payout $5,000 to the winner. If the 32-car field does not get filled, purse adjustments will potentially be made.
