2024 Little White Salmon Race

The Great Falls Foundation is proud to host the 2024 Little White Race!

RACE: As always the race will start at the top of Gettin' Busy and end at Wishbone.

To keep this race going into the future, we are striving to minimize our presence around the river. We're asking athletes to please carpool to reduce the number of vehicles at the put in and takeout. Spectators, please do not access the river at Boulder Sluice or Spirit.

Rules: With higher flows anticipated for the 2024 race, organizers have decided to make the race cut-off 4.4. There will also be a cut-off for the long boat category at the bottom of 3.7. Between 3.7-4.4, the race will have one category for women's and one for men's, and allow kayaks up to 10ft in length, which includes the Scorch X and large Nirvana.

REGISTRATION:  On-line pre-registration ONLY. Registration closes at 12pm Pacific Time on Friday, March 29th 2024. NO RACE-DAY REGISTRATION.

Athletes will recieve entrance to awards, a t-shirt, and a start time.

AWARDS CEREMONY:  Awards will be held at the Bingen Theater in Bingen, WA. Bring your party clothes! Doors open at 7pm. $20 entrance for non-athletes.

RAFFLE: Each raffle ticket provides an opportunity to win a Medium Dagger Rewind from Next Adventure, a custom Supernova from Dagger, a Medium Ripper 2 from Pyranha, a $1,500 gift certificate from Kokatat, dry wear & gear from NRS and Immersion Research, original artwork from Watercolor Woods, a Rescue PFD plus 2x choice of shoes from Astral, and other gear from additional sponsors. Tickets available online or in person at the Awards Ceremony. All raffle proceeds will be split between American Whitewater and the White Salmon Boat Library. You do not need to be present to win, however, winners will be responsible for any shipping costs associated with prizes. All raffle proceeds go to American Whitewater's effort to preserve the Little White Salmon River and the White Salmon Boat Library's work making kayaking more acessible in the Columbia Gorge.
