Come join us for the 39th Annual Iā ʼOe E Ka Lā Hula Competition & Festival at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. The Iā ʻOe E Ka Lā Hula Competition & Festival is the oldest hula competition held outside of Hawai'i. Thousands of visitors join us annually to celebrate Hawaiian culture and traditions through solo and group hula competition, arts and crafts, and cousine.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Children 5 years old and under are free. Senior Citizen (60+) ID checked at gate

Are pets allowed?

The Alameda County Fairgrounds has a no pet policy. Service and companion animals are allowed with ID and documentation.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The Alameda County Fairgrounds Parking Fee is $10

What's the refund policy?

Tickets non-refundable

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Printed or electronic tickets are required at the time of entrance
