Heartwood Park, Omaha’s newest outdoor community gathering space within Heartwood Preserve, is the go-to destination for family and friends every weekend this summer. With over 70 FREE events hosted at Heartwood Park for residents and families who want to unwind, have fun and connect outdoors.
-Third Thursdays offer an engaging evening activity geared toward adults, such as Music Bingo (July 17) and Succulents and Wine (Aug. 21).
-Friday Night Bites and Beats includes a live performance, food trucks, bar, lawn games and chill vibes. Upcoming performances by Hector Anchondo (July 11), Bryan Lidgett (July 18) and Jonathan Wayward (July 25).
-Saturday Mornings in the Park offer a rotating schedule of Wellness in the Park workouts and Kids Club events.
-Summer Saturdays are for outdoor movies, silent discos and sunset concerts. Whiskey River performance (July 12) and The Nightmare Before Christmas movie (July 19).
-Sunday Mornings in the Park offer a rotating schedule of fun outdoor activities for families, and even the family pet, with Pups in the Park, in partnership with Nebraska Humane Society.
