Please join us for a virtual experience like no other at Free to Thrive’s premiere of the short film Starfish, a story of one survivor’s journey from exploitation to freedom.

We reference this story often among our staff and while training pro bono attorneys and volunteers. With a social issue as large as human trafficking, it’s easy to become overwhelmed by the problem and feel helpless. The Starfish Story reminds us that we all have the power to make a difference. 

This event will highlight the impact Free to Thrive has on its clients through a dramatized film produced by Free to Thrive and Fôlsheart entitled Starfish. The evening will also include remarks and discussion from state and local leaders, Free to Thrive team members and special musical performances by Remedy Drive and Charles Jones

All proceeds will go to Free to Thrive’s programs that support and empower survivors of human trafficking and their families.
