A Tavola! With Chris Bianco and Friends

Join us for an unforgettable evening with live music, art installations, premium Baja wines and a multi-course Italian dinner prepared by the creator of the iconic Phoenix and LA-based Bianco empire - Pizzeria Bianco, Bar Bianco, Tratto and Pane Bianco - Chef Chris Bianco. The first pizzaiolo to win the James Beard Award for Best Chef in 2003 and for Outstanding Restauranteur in 2022 will bring his world-famed talent with artisanal pizza and innovative Italian cuisine to our culinary garden surrounded by olive groves, open fire grills and ovens, for an Italian feast to remember!

 

In his debut at Rancho Valencia, Chris’ meal will feature the finest ingredients sourced from his long standing relationships with farmers, ranchers, and local producers paired with delicious Baja California wines by the godfather of Mexican winemaking, the living legend Don Camillo Magoni. The Italian born oenologist himself, who is celebrating 60 years of making wine in Mexico, will be in attendance presenting his classic, experimental and reserve lines of Bodegas Magoni wines. Don Magoni’s participation connects Chef Bianco's longstanding link with Valle de Guadalupe that his father, Leo Bianco, made long ago at Domecq winery, where for decades Don Camillo made wine. 

 

And if that would not be enough, we are also honored to feature the multi-talented, award-winning artist Gennaro Garcia, who's intricate and exquisite Talavera art and paintings will be displayed throughout the garden. 

 

Live music by ElectricLouieLand Trio led by jazz guitarist Louis Valenzuela will create the perfect ambiance during this magical evening under the twinkling lights.
