55 Washington Square S, New York, NY 10012, USA

DESCRIPTION

Dharma Art Productions presents, BARDO BATH: Chöd

Doors: 6:00 p.m.
Starts: 6:30 p.m.

Enter the charnel ground, at New York City's historic Judson Memorial Church in Greenwich Village, and sever the bonds of ego-clinging! An exploration of sound, visual art, and transcendental experience!

A unique collaborative performance blending music, art, and meditation inspired the Tibetan Buddhist practice of Chöd and the death process described in the THE TIBETAN BOOK OF THE DEAD and THE PSYCHEDELIC EXPERIENCE by Drs. Timothy Leary, Ralph Metzner, and Richard Alpert. Blending heavy psych, improvisation, and trance-like soundscapes, we invite you to embrace fear and enter the bardo!
