What is Brain Health Awareness Week?
Brain Health Awareness Week (BHAW) is a five-day, annual event in Ottawa, hosted by the University of Ottawa Brain and Mind Research Institute (uOBMRI), a world-class leader in neuroscience research and treatment of brain disorders. Areas of research include Parkinson’s disease, neuromuscular disease, spinal cord regeneration, neural dynamics and memory and cognition. Through public engagement, open discussions and knowledge promotion, Brain Health Awareness Week aims to advance public awareness about brain health.
Please note: All keynote sessions are presented in English.
Our fee helps cover the costs of BHAW so that all funds raised by our community go directly to each cause.
