DESCRIPTION

You heard the beats beyond the white noise. In a vast electronic multiverse, you have discovered a unique sonic realm. You hear the subliminal. You are primed and ready for the mental conditioning. The Afternoon Umbrella Friends, Elicit, Music Is 4 Lovers, and Yoon present a minimally-inspired night of music. Step forward into the glitch—and dance in an elusive dimension, before the next soundwave dissolves it all into static.

For the fifth edition of Condition we bring you Ray Mono from the United Kingdom.

Ray Mono is now a core part of the underground scene; evolving, adapting, and leading from the front with his irresistible sounds. As prolific as ever, this slick and sleek producer has crafted more than 30 huge tunes, with many already out there and helping to make him one of the Top 10 selling artists on Beatport in the deep tech and minimal charts. As such, it's no surprise he has been named by Mixmag and Beatport as one of the top new artists of the year, with plenty more to come.

Having already released on the likes of Locus, META, Do Not Sleep, Moxy Muzik, PIV and many more including hedZup, Moan Recordings, Bamboleo and Tamango,  Each and every time he explores new ground but remains true to his signature sound and compelling sense of groove and emotion.

Preferring rolling, infectious tunes that get under your skin and tease with warm bass and subtle percussion, his sound—both as a DJ and a producer— is fresh and on point. It is designed to get you dancing and keep you locked in the groove for hours on end. It’s about building a mood and moving you with invention and unexpected twists and turns that all tell a story.

After a decade promoting and being resident at one of Leeds’ finest underground parties, Ray Mono stepped out of the shadows a few years ago to become a real mainstay of the scene. That party, Mono_Cult, was inspired by endless seasons in Ibiza, specifically the afterparty carry-ons at DC10 and Cocoon. They gave him a fine understanding of what it takes to work a crowd at many different times in the day, and now armed with that knowledge he is serving up his own unique take on house and tech in booths across Europe.
