DESCRIPTION

Culinary Curiosities: Virtual Baking Classes

Looking for a new, family-friendly activity to help with pandemic boredom? Join us for a fun and engaging virtual baking class, from the comfort of your own home! Participants will receive a hands-on baking experience, led by a museum employee. This educational activity will equip participants with new culinary skills and — most importantly — a sense of satisfaction for having baked their very own delicious treat.

Each class features a different recipe, which will be prepared from start to finish during the virtual session. The baking classes will be small, making the experience more personal. Participants require access to an oven and basic baking equipment. The class materials (recipe, grocery list, equipment list, and preparation instructions) will be emailed to participants shortly after registration. This will give participants enough time to gather the required materials for the class. Participants will receive a Zoom link to access the class.

Note: Children ages 13 and under are welcome to participate, but must have an adult’s help/supervision during the Virtual Baking Classes.

Class prices:

  • $22 per class for non-members
  • $20 per class for Ingenium members (enter promo code from member eNews during checkout to receive discount)
