The future of protein
A number of global forces — climate change, population growth, food insecurity, and malnutrition — are giving rise to agri-food policy debates. In the centre of all of this lies one very important macronutrient: protein! This presentation reviews the contours of the global “protein problem” and discusses the three main responses to the challenge of sustainable protein.
