Gateway CDC Board of Directors, and Staff, cordially invite you to participate in our 22nd Anniversary GALA. The Gala will be held at Martin's Crosswinds, 7400 Greenway Dr., Greenbelt, Maryland, on Thursday, November 21, 2019, 7:00 – 11:00 pm. Our featured speaker for this momentous occasion will be film producer extraordinaire Howard Gibson. The entertainment for the evening will the band, Noise on Resistance with Miles Brown.

Gibson, is the founder of The MEET Accelerator. He will give a sneak peek of a current film production underway with his Prince George’s County partners. New training opportunities and partnerships will be announced, and Gateway will once again feature a band that has been supportive of the Arts District throughout the year, and a local favorite. Noise on Resistance with Miles Brown will be our featured performers.

The artwork of Gateway artists has always been at the forefront of new horizons within the Washington Metropolitan area. The artwork of our resident artists is prominently displayed at the National Harbor, MGM Grand, Woodmore Town Center, Civil War Memorial, and many, many more historical places. During the Gala art from artists within municipalities represented by the CDC will be exhibited, and a new and exciting program will be launched.

Gateway Community Development Corporation is a catalyst for Arts-driven revitalization along the U.S. Route 1 Corridor through business and neighborhood development initiatives, including the promotion of the Arts as a community-building strategy. Gateway CDC is a 501 C3 organization that works within the communities of Brentwood, North Brentwood and Mount Rainier, MD and in collaboration with multiple partners to ensure the success of the entire Gateway Arts District.
