Island Fest is not just a tournament. Island Fest is a cultural expereince of a lifetime. Island fest was created by University of Hawai’i volleyball alumni to create a competitive USAV travel tournament experience that provides exposure and development for teams around the country and the world in one of the worldʻs cultural epicenters of the sport - Honolulu, Hawaiʻi.

Island Fest’s passion for volleyball and our desire to invite the world to play in one of the epicenters of the sport has lead to the creation of one of the most innovative and exciting volleyball tournaments in the country.

Founded in the ‘spirit of aloha’, Island Fest prides itself on the cultural-exchange made possible through one of the worldʻs most played sports. 

Ohana (family), respect, integrity, competition and ‘good vibes’ are the hallmarks of the island-style of play and they are the pillars upon which the Island Fest stands.

Island Fest Closing Mele

"Mele" [MAY-LAY] is the Hawaiian word for a celebration with music. Join us to close the Festival with great local food and music directly across from the beach and hosting the close of the AAU Beach Honolulu Championships. You wont want to miss it!: 6/15/25  4pm-7pm.
