About the Event:
Created by the Friends of Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Foundation in 2006, the Lake Forest Festival and Fireworks is an annual community event and fundraiser completely run by volunteers to provide a safe and fun environment for families celebrating Independence Day. Over the years we have brought in award-winning entertainers including The Village People, Dennis DeYoung, KC and the Sunshine Band, Eddie Money, Rick Springfield, Wynonna, and Lou Gramm. Headliner: 16 Candles
16 Candles is the hottest "80's nostalgia band" in the Midwest. With amazing musicianship, unmatched high energy onstage, production that includes one of the premier sound and light shows. Entertaining audiences since 2003, 16 Candles travels the country to bring 80's music to life in full force for a memorable and exciting concert expereince that you won't soon forget.
Opening Band: Hello Weekend
Unlike any band you've seen before, Hello Weekend is a nonstop, hit after hit, party band. They not only bring high-energy sound, but heart stopping vocals, captivating stage presence and an overall transfixing performance, the likes of which, you won't soon forget! Hello Weekend strives to keep you dancing with a wide ranging set lists that covers everything form Gaga to Guns N' Roses, Buno Mars to The Beach Boys.

- Lake Forest/Lake Bluff residents: $20 - Price increases to $25 effective June 28th at 8 AM (Kids under 5 are free) Tickets available at the Gate
- Non-residents: $30 - Price increases to $35 effective June 28th at 8 AM (Kids under 5 are free) Tickets available at the Gate
- Adult VIP Pass: $100 (Includes admission, catered food and beverages)
- Child VIP Pass: $50 (12 and under. Must be accompanied by adult with VIP pass)
- BEST DEAL! Family VIP Pass: $300 (Includes 2 Adult and 2 Child VIP passes, 1 Premier parking pass– a $350 value)
- Regular Parking Pass: $20 – Day of event only, as space is available (cash only)
- Premier Parking Pass: $50 – Online presale only, as space is available
*General Admission ticket prices increase effective June 28th at 8:00 AM. This is a "Rain or Shine" event. All tickets sales are non-refundable. All proceeds after festival expenses are used to support programs of the Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Department. Thank you for your support!
