2020 is here, so let's change those old and tired stigmas around veterans and the homeless!

All too often we hear "tech needs more talent", or "there just aren't enough skilled workers to fill the gap". But what can we do to change that?

On the other hand, we also hear too often that veterans are hard to employ due to differences between private sector and armed forces, or that the homeless are equally hard to bring into skilled jobs. 

Here's a novel idea proposed by John Proctor in his recent TEDX Talk (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nE2O7DY3P6M), why don't we bridge the gap, by bridging these two problems together in creating a solution?

Join us for great food provided by Freshii Rideau/Sparks, great drinks from Amsterdam Brewery, and a great fireside chat, and last but not least, great conversations fuelled by you as we strive to connect more humans in Canada's capital.
