This year, Marc Gunns concert will be a Fundraiser for the Father Trecy Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians (http://www.huntsvilleoah.com) annual charity event: Live Bald!
Live Bald is an annual charity head-shaving event held in Huntsville, Alabama, featuring food, drink, live music, a chance raffle, and, of course, volunteers getting their heads shaved. Live Bald is held in support of the St. Baldricks Foundation, a volunteer-powered charity dedicated to raising money for lifesaving childhood cancer research. Since 2005, St. Baldricks has funded more than $200 million to support the most brilliant childhood cancer research experts in the world. Live Bald is presented by the Father Trecy Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

From Marc's website: "Marc Gunn is a rhythm and folk musician inspired by Celtic culture, science fiction, fantasy, and cats. He breathes new life into the autoharp, which continues to surprise musical veterans and fans a like for it's unique sound and spirited energy. It's like a satirical jam session between The Clancy Brothers and Weird Al Yankovic. It's Celtic music, the traditional and the twisted." Tickets are $11.95 each. Kids not taking seats in the pub are free. Kids are welcome to attend. Doors open at 6pm -- music to start at around 7pm. Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share. Drinks are bring your own OR donate to cover costs of what you drink. The Maggie McGuinness Pub will email you the address after you make your reservation.
