Mountain Film Festival

DESCRIPTION

Welcome to the Mountain Film Festival in Concrete, Washington. This is our annual celebration of outdoor recreation, our unique mountain life, and the diversity of mountain sports. We have some great moments planned -- starting Thursday, June 1, with a free introduction and movie and ending Sunday, June 4, with a variety of films devoted to snow sports and climbing in the North Cascades. In between, you're invited to attend presentations, documentary films and shorts, feature-length movies, and more.

We've curated some fun and eclectic presentations for you, from hiking, biking, running, skiing, and climbing. Join us for discussions in Act One Ice Cream Parlor, enjoy beer and wine at Freddie's Bar, and check out our newest attraction in Cinema Two, which we'll be unveiling during this film festival.

Interested in learning about local trails and wildlife? Want to get better at taking photos? Wondering what it's like to climb up a sheer rock face? Get your tickets!

We're especially excited to welcome ultrarunner Michael McKnight on Saturday night. He'll be introducing the film, From Broken the Breaking, which follows his journey of overcoming physical challenges to set multiple long-distance records (including his triumph at Cocodona 250 in Arizona on May 3, 2023). Looking for inspiration to get moving? Don't miss this!
