National Paddling Film Festival

DESCRIPTION

For nearly four decades, The National Paddling Film Festival and the volunteers of the Bluegrass Wildwater Association have been hosting an annual competition to determine the best in paddlesport film and still image. From the start, we’ve had one simple mission: donate as much money as possible to support American Whitewater and other river conservation efforts. Since 1983, our team of volunteers have raised over $180,000 organizations dedicated to river conservation and access.

This year, we’re absolutely stoked to announce that we will be streaming our festival worldwide! Yep, that’s right, we’re takin’ ‘er virtual! For the first time in our history, you can tune into the NPFF from the comfort of your strongest WiFi spot - wherever that may be, and with whatever relaxation technique you choose to enjoy.

We’re also excited to announce that although the main event (including interviews, door prizes, and guest appearances) is scheduled for Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 5-11 pm ET, ticket holders will be able to view all 2021 entries on-demand a week prior to the event, and a week post event with a recording of the live event. We're hoping this style will bring our fest back to its roots of being a true Film Festival where ticket holders can take time to watch & appreciate all of the submissions if they choose. We’ll also be rolling the Viewer’s Choice Award back out again, so make sure to tune in & take part in our history!
