Country music recording artist, Tara Shannon, live in concert featuring Wade Foster and special guests Jeff Callery & Arlene Quinn ~ an evening of country music with a bit of folk and a whole lot of soul.
The release of Tara Shannon's new album 'Unfinished' comes after what’s already been a whirlwind 2017 for the country songstress. She recently finished her hosting duties on the hit American TV show Country Fix, a CJM Production that airs in more than 100 million households worldwide on networks including Heartland, The Family Channel, Angel Two, AMG TV, Keep It Country, VTN and Country TV. The album has received praise and critical acclaim in Ottawa, Montreal and most notably Nashville where she also performed in the legendary radio station, 650 WSM AM. The album was later followed by her single “Love Me Loud” which ranked number 8 in Indie downloads on theDMDS/Yangaroo charts in Canada during the first week after the release, surpassing hit artists Major Lazer.
Shannon’s latest album, produced by Hayley McLean, is a fusion of country and contemporary sounds aimed to attract audiences to her sophisticated, soulful musicality. The title of the album originated from a decision Shannon made 20 years ago to put her recording career on hold for her family. After being discovered by Alanis Morissette’s parents, the songstress declined a record deal knowing the timing just wasn’t right as Shannon and her husband were already busy raising their young children - a life that wasn’t conducive to a touring career. Two decades later and with all seven of Shannon’s children now mostly grown, Unfinished is her official and long-awaited comeback to music.
