Taste of Carlsbad Village

Thank you all so much for your incredible support, but Taste of Carlsbad Village sold out this morning at 9:40am. A total of 1,000 tickets were sold in record time. Again, thank you so much. We are humbled by the response.

The Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) is bringing you a night of food, fun, drink, and friendship at the 7th annual Taste of Carlsbad Village on October 10, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Downtown Carlsbad Village.

The event will feature over 30 amazing sampling opportunities with either savory or sweet signature dishes, and 16 sip stops serving local craft beer, wines, hard seltzers, and mixed cocktails. Non-alcoholic options will also be available with NA beer, cocktails, and Kombucha.

How Does It Work?

Taste of Carlsbad Village is a self-guided tour of the Carlsbad Village food scene. Tasters are issued a Passport with a map of all participating businesses where sampling and savoring can take place. 

Starting at 5:00 p.m. diners will stroll through downtown Carlsbad Village with their Passport around their neck and sample signature dishes from each of the participating eateries.

The Food

Taste bite-sized, delectable eats from the best of the culinary scene in Carlsbad. From the "low and slow" bbq to fresh seafood to decadent ravioli, you’ll enjoy an endless variety of noteworthy tastes.

Some of the participating eateries include Bluewater Grill, Campfire, Jeune et Jolie, 264 Fresco, Compass, Nick's on State, LePapagayo, and new eateries including Kai Ola Sushi, Jaliscos Cantina, and Barrio Mexican Restaurant joining us this year. There is an updated list of participating restaurants and beverage providers on the Carlsbad Village Association website.

The Sip Stops

Upgrade your "food only" ticket to enjoy our favorite makers in the beverage space. Sip on a selection of local wine, craft beers, hard seltzers, and mixed cocktails that will be served at 15+ different retail and business host locations. Enjoy Pure Project, Rouleur Brewing, Carruth Cellars, Witch Creek Winery, as well as new providers such as Docent Brewing, Happy Dad Hard Seltzer, and Seaborn cocktails, to name a few.

Tickets are $50 for "Food Only" or $65 for a "Food + Sip Stop" combo ticket. Must be 21 or older to purchase a Food + Sip Stop combo ticket. 

VIP Experience

The VIP Experience has been reimagined for its 4th year and you don't want to miss it! The VIP Experience includes your Food + Sip Stop ticket for the Taste of Carlsbad Village, but elevates the event for 100 lucky guests!

Start your evening one hour prior by picking up your ticket to the event and enjoying a special VIP-only champagne reception hosted at Barrio Glassworks. VIP guests will enjoy on-site reserved parking, live music, champagne, Bellinis, and appetizers. Don't forget to grab a fun photo in our sensational photo booth before picking up your parting gift and heading out to enjoy the Taste of Carlsbad Village!

VIP Experience tickets are $100 (must be 21 or older to purchase).
