Taste of Carlsbad Village

The Carlsbad Village Association (CVA) is bringing you a night of food, fun, drink, and friendship at the Taste of Carlsbad Village presented by First Team Real Estate on October 13, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Downtown Carlsbad Village.

The event will feature 30+ local restaurants with either savory or sweet signature dishes, and more than 15 sip stops serving local craft beer, wines, hard Kombucha, hard seltzers, and cocktails. Non-alcoholic options such as Kombucha, sparkling mineral water and cold-brewed coffee will also be available.

How Does Taste of Carlsbad Village Work?

Taste of Carlsbad Village is a self-guided tour of the Carlsbad Village food scene. Tasters are issued a Passport with a map of all participating businesses where sampling and savoring can take place. 

Starting at 5:00 p.m. diners will stroll through downtown Carlsbad Village with their Passport around their neck and sample signature dishes from each of the participating eateries.

The Food

Taste bite-sized, delectable eats from the best of the culinary scene in Carlsbad. From the "low and slow" bbq to veggie kabobs to decadent ravioli coated with a warm brown butter sage sauce, you’ll enjoy an endless variety of noteworthy tastes.

Some of the participating businesses, to date, include Bluewater Grill, Campfire, Compass, Coyote's, Frescos 264, Gelato Love, Gregorio's, Handel's Ice Cream, Jeune et Jolie, Knockout Pizza, Park 101, Senor Grubby's, Vigilucci's, Nick's on State, LePapagayo, and more. There is an updated list of participating restaurants and beverage providers on the Carlsbad Village Association website.

The Sip Stops

Upgrade your "food only" ticket to enjoy our favorite makers in the beverage space. Sip on a selection of local wine, craft beers, hard Kombucha and seltzers, and cocktails that will be served at 15+ different retail and business host locations. Enjoy Pure Project, Pizza Port Brewing, Arcana Brewery, Rouleur Brewing, Orfila Winery, Witch Creek Winery, FitVine, Flying Embers, Venom Vodka, and more.

Tickets are $45 for "Food Only" or $55 for a "Food + Sip Stop" combo ticket. Must be 21 or older to purchase a Food + Sip Stop ticket. 

An All New VIP Experience

This year the VIP Experience is all new and it is limited to just 100 people! You will be able to explore, taste and sip in the main event, but will also have VIP-only tastes and "top-shelf" sips at designated locations along the way. VIP's will also have their very own check-in reception (no need to pick up your passport early) with sweet treats from Lola's Kitchen and champagne from Wilson Creek Winery & Vineyards, as well as reserved parking! Some very fun VIP swag, courtesy of First Team Real Estate, and a canvas tote bag sporting CVA's custom Carlsbad design is yours for the keeping!
