When Tenille Townes was 15, she started a concert fundraiser in her hometown to benefit her local youth shelter, The Sunrise House. She put together a sponsor letter, had her mom drive her around town until enough people said yes to particiapating, and invited a few of her music friends to play a show. On their very first night her town raised $30,000, which helped keep the shelter's doors open. The event is now in its 12th year, and has raised over $2 Million. Tenille's dream for Big Hearts for Big Kids is to inspire people in their OWN hometowns to make a difference, and so she's embarking upon her inaugural Big Hearts on the Road concerts, where she's partnering with fans around the country to host a fundraiser for a charity close to their hearts.

Robert Brower is hosting the stop in North Carolina at his Storyteller Dance Studio and proceeds from the show will benefit S.A.F.E. Animal Haven.
