Since 2002, The Original Michigan Lavender Festival has offered a true “Symphony for the Senses”. When you step inside the doors, the subtle yet sweet aroma of lavender will begin to calm your nerves. Soothing music will add to your relaxing experience as it echoes throughout the event. The beautiful artisan booths will welcome you in with their impressive displays of handmade goodness for a wonderful shopping experience, and a variety of lavender themed classes, artist workshops and demonstrations offer a hands-on learning experience.

After growing exponentially over the years, this event has moved from the back yard of its founder to two other locations over the past 21 years to better accommodate guests. Now well-established at our final location, visitors are able to spread out and enjoy even more lavender along with excellent parking and accommodations. Conveniently located off I-69 and M-53, the Original Michigan Lavender Festival now takes place at the Eastern Michigan State Fairgrounds in Imlay City.

We are the largest lavender festival on the east coast and will showcase Michigan’s top lavender farms, growers and producers along with more than 200 Artists + Makers at our 2023 show. Our festival also features a Food Truck Gathering with Metro-Detroit’s BEST Food Trucks, and guests will be able to learn about the many benefits of lavender, including: growing, harvesting, cooking, crafting along with medicinal and aromatic uses for this beloved herb.
