It's become a summer staple! This year, the popular Unicorn Festival is adding to its gathering of unicorns, mermaids, fairies, dragons and more with some new attractions! It's all happening at Littleton's Clement Park June 10-11 during the two-day roster of magical activities for families, cosplayers and anyone who loves imagination and fun!
Unicorn Hugs, a therapy unicorn from Florida, will be wandering the festival all weekend and performing onstage daily at 12:30. A new interactive Jump Rope Stage will be hosted by Louisville's Levitate Jump Rope team! An immersive walk-through, Jazmine's Magical Unicorn Forest," is joining us from Arizona. A large "Fairyland" realm will feature visiting fairies, fairy hair strands and face painting fairies. A new giant unicorn slide joins our incredible collection of inflatable fun, which now includes the largest inflatable in Colorado!
This year's Guest of Honor is April Showers, creator and founder of Afro Unicorn, the character brand that is taking the country by storm! Afro Unicorn clothes, school supplies, party supplies, books and more can be found in Target, Walmart, JC Penney, Kohls and... just about everywhere! Afro Unicorn encourages everyone - especially little girls of color - to spread love and to remember they are "unique, divine and magical." The Afro Unicorn booth will be open throughout the festival with lots of fun activities, and April Showers and the Afro Unicorn mascot, Magical the Unicorn will be on the Main Stage daily at 1:00 pm.
Our classic attractions will round out the fun: unicorn meet-and-greet corrals, Mermaid Lagoon, Karaoke Kingdom, Creation Station, Bubble Tower, Food Trucks, Quidditch games, Storytime Cottage, Dance Stage, Shero Palace and more! For those who like to dress up to attend, a Costume Contest happens each day at 2:00, followed by a kid's Dance Party with DJ Rockstar Aaron. Several other stages are sprinkled throughout the Festival grounds. The full schedule and listing of all events and attractions is at www.unicornfestivalcolorado.
