Visit the Valle for the most exciting (and delicious!) day of the year. Be a part of the second annual food and wine festival under the sun and stars of the magical Valle de Guadalupe, featuring a star-studded line-up of Baja California and USA chefs, local wineries and breweries, live music, dancing, artisan vendors, book signings, silent auction, kids activities, and more.
Food
Admission includes tasting portions from individual strolling stations of 30 chefs from both sides of the border. In rustic, Valle de Guadalupe style, chefs will be cooking locally grown and raised ingredients over Caja Chinas, barrel smokers, Santa Maria-style grills, and authentic copper vessels.
Wine
Valle Food & Wine Festival is proud to present a curated selection of wines from over 25 of the most acclaimed and influential wineries in the region, curated by Comité Provino Baja California. Admission to the festival includes three tasting pours of wine. Additional drink tickets can be purchased at checkout or at the festival.
Other Drinks
We will have a craft beer garden, mixologists serving creative cocktails, and aguas frescas made in-house with ingredients from Finca Altozano gardens. Admission to the festival includes on beer or non-alcoholic beverage. Additional drink tickets can be purchased from our website or at the festival.
Live Entertainment
Live music on the band stage will have you dancing all day and night.
VIP Experience
An private party within the festival, the VIP Experience at the Valle Food & Wine Festival will be a masterpiece in rustic Valle chic. The lounge will feature a premium Baja Raw Bar, hors d'oeuvres created by Chef’s Table star Dominique Crenn and Baja legends Benito Molina & Solange Muris. Hosted by San Diego’s master of lavish entertaining, Andrew Spurgin, the lounge will be a mix of luxury, style, and organic beauty. VIP clients will have access to the lounge, private bar and mixologist, unlimited drinks including premium and reserve Baja wines, hors d'oeuvres, waiter service, and more.

Kids Welcome
This is a family-friendly event. We will have children’s activities, including a tour of our garden and farm animals, a coloring area, and more. Children are welcome until 9pm. Children 10 and under are free. We offer discounted prices for children 11 to 17.

Join us in the shade of a 200-year old oak tree for this special event within the event, a book signing. Enjoy an intimate moment—and a priceless selfie—with your favorite celebrity chef when you reserve a private book signing. Select the “Book Signing” option at checkout. Price includes one free signed book of your choice and entrance for 2 to the reception.
Meet the Winemaker
Meet some of the Valle’s most groundbreaking, influential winemakers at an intimate meet-and-greet event just steps from the center of the festival. You’ll learn about and taste wines from the private reserves from 25 of the area’s best vintners—wines that will not be available at the festival, and in many cases aren’t yet available to the public. This special meet-and-greet will bring you a special behind the scenes exclusive look at what’s happening in the hippest wine region in the west. Select “Meet the Winemaker” at checkout.
Private Wine Barrel “Tree House”
Imagine a private shaded table in a gorgeous vineyard set above the crowds with seven of your best friends. Dance, wander and play without a care; your private table above the fray will be there waiting for you. Each reserved barrel will have it’s own butler, shaded seating and a partial view of the stage. Reserve at checkout.
Silent Auction
A Pick-Your-Prize-Raffle style silent auction featuring signed books, signed aprons, restaurant gift certificates, and more, with 100% proceeds benefiting Corazón de Vida Foundation. Raffle tickets will be sold at the event.
Our Charity
Our beneficiary charity, Corazón de Vida Foundation, a U.S.-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization, has been providing life-changing support for orphaned and abandoned children in Baja California for over 20 years. Proceeds from this year’s Festival and auctions will be targeted toward the foundation’s college scholarship fund.

Deckman's en el Mogor

This exclusive cocktail party and dinner hosted by Deckman's en el Mogor, is a rare opportunity to rub elbows with the world-known chefs and winemakers participating in Saturday's event. The meal, which will begin with a Baja raw bar and sparkling wine, will be prepared by Baja superstars Javier Plascencia and Drew Deckman and Top Chef Master Jonathan Waxman. The event will honor Chef Rick Bayless, Mexican food ambassador, and announce the lifetime achievement award to Baja's culinary pioneers, Benito Molina & Solange Muris and a local winemaker to be announced. A portion of the proceeds plus 100 percent of a live auction and raise-the-paddle, hosted by celebrity auctioneer Billy Harris, will benefit the scholarship fund of Corazón de Vida Foundation, which has provided life-changing support to orphaned and abandoned children in Baja California for over 25 years.

An early afternoon street food extravaganza which will take place under the oak trees of El Kiosko de Santo Tomás. Join the local icons of urban cuisine and casual eateries in Baja as they bring their unique flavors from La Calle to El Valle in a casual, relaxing, park-like setting with live music. Curated by Baja Wine + Food's Fernando Gaxiola, the event will feature food from over 10+ trucks from Tijuana, Rosarito, and Ensenada; wine, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. Admission includes 2 free drinks; food sold separately.
