The CCI team has developed a professional development course for virtual exchange coordinators and trainers as they seek to support their faculty and staff peers in designing and delivering virtual exchange programs.  In partnership with filmmakers at Crossing Borders Education, we pair dynamic asynchronous modules with weekly synchronous sessions. Participants in this practical, hands-on course will receive mentorship, tools, and frameworks for creating their own VE trainings.

Renowned experts in global learning, instructional design, assessment, and online learning facilitation contributed to course materials. Contact hours for course completion are approximately 12 hours. Participants should expect to spend another 1-2 hours per week with self-paced asynchronous materials and discussions. Live, synchronous sessions will last for 2 hours each week.  Asynchronous communication between meetings will help participants build skills and a community of practice network that will remain with them after they complete the course.
