Volunteer for Kailua NiteRun

DESCRIPTION

Want to get involved in your local community while getting fit and having fun? Volunteer for the Kailua NiteRun on October 10, 2015!

This 5K Fun Run/Walk & Family Fair is a local event put on by a local company, and it's all for a good cause. All proceeds from the race are donated to a charity or community organization. The Kailua NiteRun will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii - Windward, and is also part of an ongoing effort to raise awareness about the Kawainui Marsh.

All volunteers get a free NiteRun t-shirt, a food voucher to use at event, and a $20 entry for a friend to the Kailua NiteRun. (Volunteers can also run for free as unregistered participants if their shift does not conflict with the race.) So join our volunteer team to meet cool people and have some fun, all while giving back to your community!

Volunteer shifts are 5 hours long (except for the Course Breakdown shift which is 3 hours), and are staggered between 1pm-11pm on Saturday, October 10th. Volunteers who select shifts that overlap with the race will NOT be able to run the race, as you will be needed during that time, but you can still give a discounted entry to a friend or family member.

*We also have a limited number of volunteer slots for a short shift on Friday night for Packet Pickup. Packet Pickup volunteers will get a $20 entry to the NiteRun on Saturday.
