Summit at Sea 2026

About Events.com

Events.com is the infrastructure behind live events and experiences. Based in La Jolla, California, the company helps people create, promote, discover and enjoy the moments that matter most, powering discovery, ticketing, registration and event management for tens of thousands of organizers and organizations worldwide.

AI-first, at Events.com every listing, ticket and registration on the platform adds to a structured, first-party record of where people gather, what they pay for and why. It is a live map of what is happening in a city now, not a report on what happened last year. That record powers the company’s event knowledge graph and its optimization engine, which makes events discoverable to both people and the AI systems people increasingly search through, and gives organizers, sponsors and venues real-time insight into demand, audiences and pricing.

Events.com also owns and operates live properties, including the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance and Summit at Sea, running its own technology at full scale.

Doug Harrison Board Director, Events.com Founder, The Rise Club

Doug Harrison

Board Director

Doug currently serves on the board of Events.com, where he brings decades of pattern recognition and executive advisory experience to the intersection of AI and the experience economy. As Events.com builds the AI-ready knowledge graph of the world's events, Doug is helping shape the future of how experiences are created, discovered, and scaled—and is a driving force behind the next chapter of Summit, the iconic experience for visionary creators, as it expands its global reach and immersive offerings within the Events.com ecosystem. Through The Rise Club and his proprietary Rise Framework, Doug guides founders, executives, and investors past the 10 "Mind Traps" that sabotage clarity and momentum—going deep into culture, sales systems, and positioning to generate measurable, sustainable market lift. That advisory edge was built over a career in strategic research. As founder and CEO of Harrison Group, Doug led one of the most respected market research and strategy consultancies in the U.S., serving Fortune 500 clients across tech, financial services, luxury, and entertainment. His firm's portfolio, predictive modeling, affluent consumer insights (including the Survey of Affluence and Wealth in America), and elite segmentation and brand architecture, made it the cornerstone of YouGov's $30M U.S. expansion when it was acquired and helped transform YouGov from a polling firm into a commercial intelligence powerhouse. The foundation came earlier, at Yankelovich Partners which was one of the most influential names in American consumer research where Doug ran the strategic research and volumetric forecasting practice, directing brand positioning and go-to-market strategy for some of the world's largest companies. Across every chapter, Doug has been known not just for results, but for the integrity, empathy, and clarity he brings into the room. continue

Cheryl K. Goodman Chief Strategy Officer, Events.com | Founder & CEO, FindGood.tech

Cheryl K. Goodman

Chief Strategy Officer

As Chief Strategy Officer at Events.com, Cheryl is the executive architect of the company's market transformation—recasting Events.com from a legacy ticketing vendor into an advanced AI experience platform. Reporting to the CEO and working in lockstep with CTO, investor Relations, Legal and the Board, she orchestrates the company's growth story while building the developer and creator ecosystems that prove the platform's AI future. She is, by design, both a nimble operator and a scale strategist. A trusted strategic advisor with a global sensibility, Cheryl has spent 25+ years at the human-machine frontier. That fluency was forged inside Sony, one of the world's most iconic brands, where she led the. market launch of the AIBO platform—Sony's pioneering consumer robotics companion—shaping how American audiences came to understand robotics, from accessibility to practical utility. At Qualcomm, she became a leading voice for frontier hardware as a key spokesperson for its mirasol display technology. And her instincts were forged earlier still as a .com-era operator at MP3.com and LindowsOS—category-defining ventures that disrupted how the world consumed music and software. Beyond Events.com, Cheryl is founder and CEO of FindGood.tech, where her proprietary AI Actualized™ methodology turns AI from abstraction into operational advantage; co-founder of the Alliance for Societal Impact (ASI); host of the Mind the Machine podcast; and author of How to Win Friends & Influence Robots. Her leadership has earned industry recognition—including Businesswoman of the Year 2021 —for a progressive outlook on emerging technology and a track record of creating trends before the market has even named them. Across every chapter, Cheryl's edge is the same: translating the most complex technology into the clarity, strategy, and momentum that move markets. continue
