We’re pretty cool people, and we thought you might like to get to know us a bit better. Every few weeks we’ll share another bio as part of our “Meet the Team” series.
So Mitch, what would you say you do here? Start stuff and make rain. I am focused on finding the right partners, growing our client base, and board level directives to help drive success. I’m also focused on finding out which drawer the silverware is in each day and where Jack sleeps when the office closes (if he ever truly leaves for the night). I think he sleeps under the ping pong table, but I’m not sure.
What is your favorite part about working at Events.com? The people. It’s been a wonderful few years assembling the various ingredients of Events.com, but the most essential ingredient is the people. I truly enjoy working with our team and it’s a company I love. I’m also very excited about our mission and what we are doing as a business. The Events.com manifesto is exciting and we will change the world of events.
In the spirit of #events, what is your favorite thing to do on the weekend? I love to swim, bike and run. I mostly love swimming though. On weekends, I love to do all three between marathon sessions of email catch-up, and the occasional triathlon followed by a trip to Whole Paycheck.
If you could witness any event past, present, or future, what would it be? Past: VE day in NYC (Victory in Europe Day after WWII) Present: I would love to witness a quantum entanglement experiment Future: Man or woman first walking on Mars
