Meet the Team – Steve Mazza

We’re pretty cool people, and we thought you might like to get to know us a bit better. Every few weeks we’ll share another bio as part of our “Meet the Team” series.

We’re thrilled to share that Steve Mazza has been elected to the 2015 Board of Directors of Running USA!

So, what would you say you do here?

I engage, advise, and consult with clients in the endurance sports business, and use my experience and expertise to foster growth for their organizations through the use of technology. I love to help businesses succeed and am fueled by a passion for sports and technology.

What is your favorite part about working at Events.com?

I get a tremendous amount of satisfaction working on a team of intelligent, talented, interesting and athletic folks. Coming to work in an environment where everybody works hard and plays hard creates a dynamic atmosphere that inspires me!

In the spirit of #events, what is your favorite thing to do on the weekend?

I travel any chance I can get, and I also love the mountains and beaches of San Diego County. Mountain biking in the morning, spending time on my tandem beach cruiser with my wife, and enjoying live music at night.

If you could witness any event past, present, or future, what would it be?

The Newport, RI Folk Fest in 1965. Bob Dylan broke out an electric guitar for this historic performance.
